When they demolish that place, it will rip the fans' hearts apart. Like what they did to the Tiger Stadium. Good thing for the Tigers is that the field and the flag pole are still there and they used it for some games.

Oakland A’S

As a European who has followed baseball it saddens me that this is happening. Oakland felt like the most heartwarming team ever and I think they have a spot in everyone’s heart.

Visiting Oakland for many years to see all the sports teams and now they’re all going to be gone is heartbreaking for the city. The city deserves better

Good video but there's one crucial angle you left out. The city. Did you try to interview the Mayor? Officials from the city and Alameda County? This is a city that found a way to lose THREE sports teams and a ton of other businesses in the course of five years. How did this happen? I think the City bears a good bit of the blame, and this needs to be addressed.

As a former Angels fan I would have loved the record Fisher brought to the Athletics…. 7 playoff appearances since 2000!!! But the fans want to complain and not show up? I guess I see both sides of this debate.

How are you supposed to expect a team to stay in a 50+ year old stadium that's been falling to shit for the last 10 of them? That's why the Raiders are in Vegas now and why the A's are on the way out as well both teams have been trying to get a new stadium in Oakland but politics and other shit got in the way so they left
